OVER the years I have cruised Milford Sound three times, and Doubtful Sound twice, all five times the weather has been clear - most unusual for multiple trips to Fiordland. Today on my third cruise through Doubtful Sound I was finally rewarded with the spectacular cloud formations and rainy squalls this area is so famous for. This dramatically changed the landscape over previous trips here, providing for some amazing photographic opportunities. |
