HERE I am at the corner of 5th Avenue and 34th Street and right behind me here is the Empire State Building and I am about to head up it. It is the late afternoon so I'm heading up for the sunset.
I've arrived on level 86 and this is really high up off the street. You can actually hear the sound of the traffic way below. It's a bit crowded up here but it's open air, a little bit caged, but there are really good clear views. I'm now going further up to level 102.
Well I've arrived on level 102. It's a little bit crowded and cramped in here but the view here (looking over Lower Manhattan now) is absolutely amazing. So I'm just exploring this rather confined observatory here on level 102 and you can see the sun is drifting low, so I'm going to head back to level 86 to watch the sunset.
