Good morning friends. Today I'm on Mount Coochin at the northern end of the Glasshouse Mountains. This is another one of the lesser known Glasshouse Mountains and quite a steep track. There's a bit of rain today but not a great deal. We're expecting heavy rain over the next two days so I'm doing this today. It is quite a steep track going up. Come join with me as I explore Mount Coochin.

Well friends I've now made the summit. There's quite a squall up here at the moment but it should clear very shortly. There's normally a very good view from up here but not much at the moment. I'll just relax here and wait for the sun to come back out.

Well friends the rain has cleared very briefly but the rain's going to come on again so I'm going to head down the mountain. I'm at the very summit of Mount Coochin. There's some pretty spectacular views now the cloud has cleared. Just over there you can see Mount Ngungun, Tibrogargan and Beerburrum. You can also see the sharp peak of Tibberoowuccum further on. There's Mount Coonoorin (Crookneck) out there. Through the valley there you can just make out The Twins. Mount Elimbah which I climbed a few weeks ago is hidden away in the clouds there.

Well friends I'm now back at the end of the trail having successfully made it to the main summit of Mount Coochin and got some really spectacular photography of the clouds over all the hills. So thanks friends for joining me and I'll catch you somewhere else next week. Ciao for now.
