Well hello friends. This afternoon I am going into the southern end of White's Hill Reserve, only a few kilometres out from the city centre. I've never been out here before so I'm doing a late afternoon sunset walk here tonight. This is a reserve to the south east of the city centre. Come join with me as I explore White's Hill Reserve.

Well friends I'm now approaching the end of the trail back in the madness of civilisation in Brisbane rush hour. This is a very nice walk actually. Today I was working not too far from this little spot, just a short walk away so I thought I've never been on this hill before. I decided to head up here. Those are kookaburras. There's quite a few of them in the forest here. It is the world's largest kingfisher. I have photographed them before. They are a native Australian bird adapted to the harsh Australian climate. This is a good area between busy motorways and quite close to the city. This is a wild sanctuary pretty much untouched. I've seen quite a few locals walking their dogs and hiking and running over this hill. It's amazing what you find. It's well worth keeping your eyes open for these places and hidden spots. There was a beautiful sunset before. It's getting dark as I cross this little creek now. Next time I'm out in this area I'm going to explore the hill a bit more as there are a few other tracks going over the other side of the hill.

On this note, thanks friends for joining me today, and catch you somewhere else next time. Ciao for now.
