WELL HELLO friends. I'm now back doing the video diaries. I haven't done a video one for about a year and a half. Ironically the first text diary after finishing the video diaries was here at Warner Lakes just a bit further around. I'm at Warner Lakes in the Pine Rivers area today doing this first video diary. This time around I'm just doing short videos to keep up to date, just a two to three minute video to introduce where I am and to talk about some of the thoughts I've been having. Usually I have some interesting thoughts when walking and travelling, so why not share them at the video diaries. So I'm getting them back up and running again and hopefully I will be a lot quicker getting them up running. The content in the recent text diaries tends to end up nearly the same in the Jeff's Travels section of the site so instead of repeating myself, I just do a quick introduction of where I am and what I'm thinking. My website walkaboutjeff.com is still running so everything is still up there. Anyway my videos will be short form like this but I'm looking at doing longer videos of the bigger trips. Now I'm in the process of getting the video together for the Longreach trip I did last year and that will be followed by the video for the big hike I did in Sydney at the end of last year followed by another two videos for the recent Tasmania trip then more for trips coming up. I'll also do longer videos for the South East Queensland Trail huge hike I have been doing. I'm hoping to be putting videos up for that, one per leg fairly soonish, so that will be a lot of videos I'm doing but for the video diaries, instead of doing text, I'll do these short video ones. So welcome back. I'm using Youtube again. It's the only social media platform I'm comfortable with given the security issues and privacy issues with all the other platforms. I'll keep right away from them but with Youtube there is the option of disabling comments so unfortunately I won't be able to see your comments for any feedback but at least you can watch the videos.
