Well hello friends. Today I'm coming from Kakadu National Park east of Darwin. It's been quite a long journey taking most of the day to get here.

I'm now exploring the Ubirr area with a series of cliffs and caves. These are sea cliffs from where the sea used to come in here. These rocks are really amazing, being one and a half billion years old. I've never seen such old rocks before, not even half of this age. They were deposited one and a half billion years ago and now they have been eroded in fairly recent times when there was an inland sea here when the land was uplifted with the collision with Indonesia. In here there is a heap of old Aboriginal paintings several thousand years old. That makes this a really interesting area. Anyway I'd better catch up with the rest of my group.

Well friends I have now caught up with everyone having reached one of the viewpoints overlooking the plains of Kakadu. It is very spectacular from up here in Crocodile Dundee country. I think it was actually filmed around here. Anyway friends, this is where I will leave you, here in this amazing place, Kakadu. I'll catch you somewhere else around here tomorrow. Until then, thanks for joining me and ciao for now.
