Well good morning friends. We're back in the national park now having one last visit in the park here. I've come to a beautiful place called Edith Falls. It's very beautiful here with an amazing walk up here. It's pretty warm today about thirty four degrees so it's time for a nice little swim. There's a beautiful waterfall behind me. Again it's a clear day with not a cloud in the sky.

Well friends I've now made it up to Bilinga Lookout. It looks back over to the waterholes back there, already looking a long way away. It's amazing how the river is eating its way through the ancient landscape here. I think it's the same rock formation about 1.65 billion years old. That's an unimaginable length of time. We are just continuing along the track and down to the lower pool. There are three pools. The upper one where I've just come from, the middle one just down there, then the lower one where we are now heading down to shortly.

Well friends I've almost reached the end of the track at the lower pool. There's the lower waterfall there. We've hiked over the hills and back into the gorge down to here. It is very warm now, around thirty five degrees so time for another swim in this nice big pool here before we continue heading along.

I've now made it to Adelaide River heading back towards Darwin. We found a little war cemetery here. Darwin and this whole area was bombed during World War II. They set up this cemetery here for the soldiers and the other people who were killed during the big bombings that happened during World War II. You wouldn't normally associate Australia with having had any military attacks but around here from Darwin to Katherine got bombed in World War II.

Well hello friends. I'm at our final destination for today at the Adelaide River Pub. Just behind me there is Charlie the buffalo who was used in the Crocodile Dundee movies. After it died, it got stuffed and was put into here so there's quite a piece of movie history here. Anyway friends, that's all I have today. Thanks friends for joining me again today. I'll catch you somewhere else in the Northern Territory tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
