Well good morning friends. Today I'm in Litchfield National Park. We're heading back to Darwin and our first stop is here at some termite mounds. This is a cathedral termite. I've seen a lot of these growing up to five or six metres tall. This is a really tall termite mound. We're having a look at this one before heading nearby to see some magnetic termite mounds as well.

Now I'm in a field of termite mounds. These point to the north capturing the sun in the morning and evening and a thin edge during midday when it is really hot, so this shape is very good for thermal insulation. This looks like a very mysterious ancient graveyard, making for a very interesting effect.

Well friends I've now made it in quite a way into Litchfield National Park. I'm exploring one of the streams at the moment. As you can see there's some really beautiful rapids here. We're following a track downstream towards Florence Falls. There's still a fair way to go yet, but I've heard they are absolutely amazing.

Well friends I'm now up above Florence Falls. It is a bit croweded down there but I've found a very nice view up here after climbing a lot of steps in this thirty five degree heat, so it was quite an intense climb that one.

I'm at our final destination now, Wangi Falls in Litchfield National Park. It's been a very exciting day exploring the park today. These falls are amazing. This is our final destination before we head back to Darwin. It is very warm here, so I'll have a swim here. Someone was attacked by a saltwater crocodile a couple of weeks ago but today it should be alright. It's another beautiful day here in paradise.

With that I'm going to call it another day now, so thanks friends for joining me again today. I'll catch you somewhere tomorrow in the Northern Territory tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
