Good morning friends. Today is actually our final day on the Larapinta. We've already started making our way back to Alice Springs already and our first stop here is at some traditional ochre pits. This is probably one of the best places in Australia for ochre. A lot of Aboriginal people used the ochre for their paintings and for healing as well. This is a very important site. They have been harvesting the ochre here for many thousands of years. We are just exploring this little area. This is one of our stops on our way back to Alice Springs. This is a side trail on the Larapinta and a lot of hikers do come here. It's quite a special place this one.

Well friends I've now made it into Standley Chasm. It is only a couple of metres wide but the walls are towering quite high. It is an amazing geologial formating this one. This is our main site for the day and this is along the trail. It is nice and cool in here as it is another quite hot day but it is cool in here. It is a very fascinating place.

Anyway friends, I will leave you here for today. I'm heading back to Alice Springs later today so I'll catch you somewhere else in Alice Springs tomorrow. Thanks friends for joining me again so until then, ciao for now.
