Well good morning friends. Today I'm in Erldunda with a new tour group about a hundred and fifty kilometre south west of Alice Springs. It's overcast today, the first I've had in this entire trip. I'm in Erldunda with its claim to fame being at the very centre of Australia. It is equal distance from east to west coast, and from north to south coast as well, so this is right in the centre of the country. We're just stopping here briefly before heading onto King's Canyon.

Well friends, I've now made it up into King's Canyon. We've just done the creek walk along the bottom of the canyon. It is pretty amazing here and believe it or not there's a few drops of rain. I've not seen that for a long time. It's the first I've seen clouds or rain in the whole trip. The cloud cover creates perfect lighting for photographing the red rock of King's Canyon. This canyon marks the meeting point between three different deserts around here.

Here I'll call it a day. Thanks friends for joining me again today and I shall catch you somewhere else around here tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
