Well good morning friends. Today I'm coming from the iconic Uluru rock. Finally after all this time in the Northern Territory I've made it here watching the sunrise. I was here late yesterday for the sunset and now I'm back watching the sunrise. The sun has now risen and I have done a lot of photography of the pre-sunrise and the actual sunrise itself. It has been absolutely spectacular. Today we are exploring a few areas around the rock. Well friends I've made it to the sacred Kantju Gorge under this waterfall and the gorge is pretty massive rising a couple of hundred metres. It is really spectacular here along this walkway following the bottom of the Uluru rockform. I'm exploring this area today. I've now made it to the eastern end of the rock. It is a bit exposed here and very windy. It is spectacular out here in the sun and a bit warmer as well as we continue to explore the area. Well friends I've come further around the rock now and following the Kuniya Walk. As you can see it is very spectacular around here looking towards the Mutitjulu Waterhole. Still exploring at the moment but it is a beautiful day for it.
