Hello friends. Today I'm just walking through one of the local parks. I haven't been travelling much at all lately with working on other things but I thought today I'd go for a little walk to have a break. I've been working on one of my main musical goals over this weekend. You'll probably remember I used to compose a bit of music to my video diaries in the past but haven't been doing that much lately. They were fun to do but the quality wasn't really amazing so I've decided to hold off doing that and focus on higher quality stuff and I'm currently writing two piano concertos. They are of a much higher level than anything I've written before. It's really interesting and starting to come together now. There's still a long way to go. Yesterday I recorded what I've done so far with both concertos. The first one is in B flat minor which is probably half done now and the other one in D minor which is about a quarter done. There is still a fair way to go but it was very interesting recording them as is and hearing what they sound like without playing at the same time. This has given me a really good idea of how to structure it. That's going to keep me busy for quite a bit longer. I thought I'd show you a little bit of what I've done. The full video was about twenty seven minutes but I won't bore you with all of that. I'll put a couple of tiny segments on to give you a bit of an idea on what I'm composing at the moment.
