Well good morning friends. It is day two in Adelaide and I'm here just beside the Torrens River beside the city. I notice on maps there is parkland going around the entire central city so this is what I'm going to be doing today, walking around the city centre. I'm starting today under this rotunda here and just behind me there is the city. I'm going around it along a track that initially follows the river before going around through all these parks. That's what I'll be spending all of today doing. It looks like this main track is about seventeen kilometres all around. There's also one up on the north side as well which is around ten kilometres. From here I'll head around the city to head back to this point and if I'm up to it I'll do the northern one as well. That's today in a nutshell.
I've now made it to as far as the weir. There's the Torrens River running downstream so I'll follow that in another day or two on another walk. The city is back there. From here the track leaves the river and goes around the city.
OK I'm back up at the rotuda where I started this morning. I've completed the circuit right around the city. I followed part of the Torrens River at the start and end, and the rest of it around the city along the Parkway Trail going around all the parks around the city. The Parkway Trail does continue along the other side of the river. I'm thinking of doing that one of the other days I'm here. This is as far as I'm going today, so I'll leave you here.
