Introduction to today's journey

Today's journey takes me from Hoi An back to Da Nang where we catch a flight down the coast to Ho Chi Minh City. When we arrive, we travel through the frenetic city on cyclos to the Vietnam War museum and explore the city centre.

We stop at the War Remnants Museum, where numerous artefacts were collected from around the country after the war ended.

Most remnants were from USA, who dumped everything and left after the communist north won the war, and Saigon was renamed Ho Chi Minh City after the communist leader.
