Well hello friends. Today I'm exploring the Brisbane River and at the moment just outside the old customs house which was built back in the 1870s, quite a long time ago when this used to be the main port coming in to Brisbane. The ships used to sail here from the other side of the world. This is the old customs house but now immigration is done at the airport now. This is a very historic building right here in amongst these massive buildings that now make up the city. It is a restaurant now.
I'm just in the city today. I haven't been here for quite a while. Looking upstream you can see a lot of construction going on with a few more bridges going up so I'll definitely walk across them when they open and there are a few more buildings going up as well. It is very interesting with this customs house being around for many years in amongst these new buildings which have all been built in the past twenty or thirty years.
Anyway it is now raining with a big rain event just starting now so I'm going to head home. So greetings from the city again today. Thanks friends for joining me again. I'll catch you somewhere else next time, until then, ciao for now.
