Hello friends. I am continuing up the Swan River today and the river is quite wide here but will gradually narrow into a normal river. It is another beautifully fine day today which is meant to get up to about 33 degrees which is quite warm, so I've started early.
Behind me there is one of the interesting bridges crossing the river here. I'm going to head straight upstream and explore the river today. It looks like the track will be really good the whole way up. I'll do about twenty kilometres.
Continuing up from the city starting early this morning. I have been following the track up along the river. It is a very good track the whole way up. I'm about half way up this twenty kilometre hike up towards Guildford.
Continuing my way upstream, I'm now passing some of these amazing wetlands here. They've done a really good job keeping the wetlands and vegetation along the river as pristine as possible even though this river goes through the middle of a major city. I'm about two thirds of the way up now towards where I'm heading. It is getting quite warm at around 32 to 33 degrees. Hopefully the seabreeze will start kicking in shortly.
Anyway I'll leave you here, so thanks friends for joining me today and I'm going to catch you somewhere else in Perth tomorrow. Until then, ciao for now.
