I TOOK another trip across the bay to Moreton Island, where I walked along the northern coast towards North Point campground.
The lagoon west of North Point was very large due to a large sand bar. When the tide was full it made for an interesting shot of straight lines - a dark blue thin line of the open ocean of the Coral Sea. Below that was the almost white line of the granite sands, below that was the pale blue line of the submerged part of the sand bar, and below that was the darker blue of the permanently flooded deeper waters of the small lagoon.
