Awaroa Beach

THE STORM clears as I walk along Awaroa Beach, the barrier to the largest estuary in the Abel Tasman National Park. Here I can see back along the coast all the way up to Anapai Headlands just beyond Totaranui.

Although the weather shows signs of improvement the rain is about to set in again for another night.
