CANBERRA in the local Aboriginal language means "meeting place". The enormous building behind me is the meeting place where Australia's leaders gather to run the country.

Parliament House is a unique building set into a low hill. A massive mast proudly flies the Australian flag. Today it is flying half mast due to the overnight death of the Saudi Arabian king.
