TRAVELLING west from Melbourne I reached Sovereign Hill where I had a go at panning for gold. Upon entering the village, I was taken back 160 years back in time back to the days of when huge gold deposits were found in the area sparking one of the biggest gold rushes in history. Some made their fortune here, others didn't. As for my success in my search for gold. Suffice to say it's back to my day job on Monday... Blogs from today... |
