Well good morning friends. Today I'm at the Todd River which runs straight through the middle of Alice Springs beside the city centre. As you can see it is completely dry here with the dry season. It does flood sometimes but for much of the year it is completely dry. This morning I have been exploring the river up and down. It went down to five degrees this morning but it is now warming up quite a bit so I'll head back into town now. It is supposed to get up to twenty nine degrees today. There is quite a big range of temperatures here between day and night making it quite extreme here in the desert.

Today I'm exploring Alice Springs before heading off up into the Larapinta. The Larapinta Trail takes about two weeks to hike but I'm just doing sections of it. People who do it from end to end finish up about here coming back into the town along this trail here. Anyway today is just a quiet day exploring the town.

Well hello friends, I'm now in Todd Mall in the town centre of Alice Springs. It is quite warm now nearly thirty degrees. I have been walking along the mall here. It is quite pleasant. I'm continuing to explore the town today. Thanks friends for joining me again and I'll catch you somewhere else tomorrow. Ciao for now.
